Delay Timer

A non maintained lamp is automatically switched off immediately when the mains supply is restored. This DELTIM-1 introduces a delay of approximately12 minutes during which the emergency lamp remains on even after the mains supply has been restored. The DELTIM-1 is used when the general lighting is provided by H.I.D. lamps.

H.I.D. lamps can take several minutes to strike/re-strike and build up light output. The delayed turn off of emergency lamps provide ambient lighting during this period.
