One of the standard product ranges of FAMCO are emergency luminaires and signs. FAMCO believe that they have the
best, most reliable, energy efficient, highest performance fittings in Australia, in every category. FAMCO have
designed and supply the most comprehensive user friendly computer monitoring and testing systems for emergency
lighting in the world - in fact two systems:
The MasterMinder BUS wired system
The MLC - "wireless" MasterMinder
system
FAMCO has the ability to convert ideas into products. State of the art CAD / CAM systems are utilised for
the design of metal parts, tooling, plastics components and electronics. FAMCO have a well equipped tool
shop and sample manufacturing facilities.
FAMCO has an in house photometric laboratory capable of testing products to prove their performance. The
test laboratory also includes environmental chamber for testing of fittings over a wide temperature range.

FAMCO's manufacturing facilities include all the machines and tooling which enables us to organise and produce
special luminaires. The equipment ranges from specialised lighting component lathes and milling machines to the
latest computer controlled sheet cutting, punching and forming presses.
FAMCO has produced luminaires for Singapore, Fiji, Samoa, Noumea, New Zealand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong
Kong and presently negotiating licensing of their MasterMinder electronic monitoring systems for Emergency Lighting
for the United Kingdom including the whole of Europe. |
